Happy 1st Birthday Isabelle Lilly!!!    She's A Wild One I can't believe my baby's one! The last 12 months have gone by so quick it's unreal. It's crazy to think how far she's come and all she's achieved in a year. I look back at photos of the day she was born and it feels like it was yesterday. I've been making baby photo albums for her and its surreal looking back at photos from a few months ago to see her face has changed so much that it's almost like looking at a different baby. The rate of development is outstanding to me. That she went from not being able to do a single thing for herself to have learnt to talk and walk ect all in one year! I'm so proud of her and all she is. She is the greatest gift in the world. I love being her mum. It's been my best year yet because it's my first year as a mum!  Isabelle Lilly  11 Months Old Update    Wow another month has flown by in a blink of an eye. It is officially the beginning of autumn which not only means the beautiful colour of leaves changing but her 1st birthday is right round the corner. Cant believe in just a few short weeks shes going to be one!!! I could cry at the thought :') Milestones She gained 2 extra teeth this month! It's horrible for them when their teeth are cutting through but I'm pleased that she can have more solid food now than mostly purees. She's using her teeth to cut through pieces of food and tear chunks off. When I give her snack and finger food like the Kiddylicious veggie straws (vegetable crisps) she'll press them down on her 2 bottom teeth to cut bits off so eating is more fun for her.  One of the thing's she's learnt that I'm most proud of is laughing, smiling and clapping to get our attention over crying. Get To Know Me Happy Tuesday everyone! There's only just 2 weeks & 1 day left till Isabelle's 1st Birthday!!! I thought you all like to Get To Know Me and Isabelle better for the occasion.      How To Help A Baby Sleep Through The Night For newborns and older babies who wake during the night    The first few precious months of your baby's life are magical yet absolutely exhausting. There's no words to describe how tough it is take care of a baby and yourself when neither one of you are getting enough sleep. The important thing to remember is that this phase doesn't last long and with enough perseverance and patience they will be sleeping through the night in no time. These are my tips from my own first hand experience as a mum to a young baby. All are tried and true methods that's worked for me but bare in mind all babies are different and what works for one may not work for another. Bath-Bottle-Bed Routine.  Isabelle Lilly : 10 months old update My once tiny premature baby is now in double digits! 10 months have flown by in a blink of an eye at lightening speed. I wish I had started doing these monthly age updates for her from the very beginning but better now than never! Besides I will probably keep doing them until shes at least 24 months i.e 2 so that's a whole nother year + 2 months I can document. I personally find these very interesting being a mum to know what other babas around my little ones age are doing plus I know these will be wonderful to look back on and cherish with Isabelle when shes older.
